A rare celestial and amazing
astronomical event happening today (December 21, 2020) with the two largest
Planets in our Solar system, the Jupiter and Saturn, conjoined together (have
come very close to each other, they line up exactly) in the zodiacal sign Capricorn.
Though, Jupiter and Saturn conjuncts with each other once in 20 years, but this
time, it is the closest conjunction in 397 years. The last closest conjunction of
these two giants happened on July 16, 1623 although, it was not visible to the
sky-watchers. It was visible in 1226 as per the data available.
One can witness these two giant planets, Jupiter and
Saturn, with the naked eyes, if the skies are clear with no cloud cover in the
South-West region.
What happens when Jupiter and
Saturn conjuncts each other?
Both these giant planets are
associated with authority in a different way. Jupiter is a connected with
health, wealth, knowledge and having of a good time, whereas, the disciplined
planet Saturn favours strict responsibility, no non-sense attitude and setting
of limits. One can expect power struggles over the best way to rule. Change of guard is possible signifying a new beginning
from the scratch. Release the old habits and make way for doing things in new
ways. If you are open to change, one can make incredible changes in fulfilling their
long-standing dreams which is now possible. One makes new ways of doing things.
Jupiter and Saturn conjunction
in Capricorn makes it a “Neech Bhang Raja Yog”. Saturn, being in Capricorn,
cancels the negative effect of the debilitated Jupiter and makes it comfortable
in its sign and concede the fruitful results by way of this conjunction.
